Teens in Thurston

Hello! The Teens in Thurston (TnT) group is a volunteer program at the Thurston Conservation District for local high school students. This group meets approximately once a month to participate in a variety of conservation and sustainability activities, learn from Conservation District staff and partners, and build community between students from a variety of backgrounds. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to participate in volunteer opportunities outside of normal meetings, choosing from a variety of projects with community partners based on their interests. Regular participation is not necessary to participate in this group, but we hope you become a returning member! If you might be interested in participating, fill out the form below! Upcoming Events

  • April: Join Teens in Thurston and WSU Master Gardeners to fill garden beds at their Dirt Works Demonstration Garden! The beds TnT volunteers will be helping to build will be used to grow food for the Thurston County Food Bank.

    Yauger Park in Olympia
  • May: Stay tuned for more details, but for now save the date: Saturday, May 11th
  • June: Our June event will be with the Salish Roots Farm and Squaxin Community Garden!
    Sunday, June 2nd, with more details to follow.
