Amy is the Lead Entity Coordinator for the Conservation District. She works with landowners and project sponsors to improve salmon habitat in our area. She chairs several committees tasked with setting restoration priorities and ranking salmon enhancement projects to provide the highest benefit to salmon and ensure community support. She works closely with the Salmon Recovery Funding Board, Tribes, state agencies and numerous local citizen groups to create cooperative partnerships in an effort to reach consensus based decisions using science and people as a foundation.
Amy has a Masters Degree in Business and a BA in Microbiology from The Evergreen State College. Amy is the Lead Entity Coordinator for Water Resource Inventory Areas (WRIAs) 13 in Thurston County.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys working in her organic flower and vegetable gardens with her husband and their two children, as well as reading and cooking.
