Bonnie was raised on a 40 acre commercial Poultry Farm which later became a beef cattle farm. She has worked on various industries for the last 28 years as an Accountant. She has a BA from the Evergreen State College and a fifth year of accounting classes from local community colleges. She has spent the last 9 years as an Accountant for Non Profit entities. She has supervised Audits from SEC's, A133's and State of Washington audits. All of her audits have been clean audits. Bonnie is a second generation Washingtonian and is married to a descendant of one of Thurston County’s pioneer families. She considers that the Thurston Conservation District through its ability to be non-regulatory, to be a vital part of the farming community of Thurston County.

Bonnie joined the Thurston Conservation District in June 2006 as the Accountant. Her responsibilities include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, grant vouchering and other essential functions of the position.
