The Natural Resources Youth Camp (NRYC) was founded in 1983. NRYC is for youth ages 12-17.

The camp program includes a ropes challenge course, team events, hands-on learning stations in aquatics, forestry, soils, and fish & wildlife. Instruction is provided by resource professionals who volunteer their time to share their knowledge and expertise. Recreation including hiking, archery, and crafts are also included in the daily program, as is a group campfire program that includes skits, songs and challenges.
