Local Solutions to Local Problems

About Us

The quality of our land and water affects everyone. Clean water and productive soils are essential for our good health and quality of life.

That is why it’s important for each of us, city, suburb, and country dwellers alike, to step forward and be wise stewards of our property.

The Thurston Conservation District promotes voluntary stewardship among private landowners in Thurston County. Our services are free to the residents of our County. We are committed to finding any possible resources we can and coordinate them so that they meet the needs of the local land-user for conservation of soil, water and related resources.
